HOW MANY DERMAPEN TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?

DermaPen can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks until you achieve the desired results. For collagen induction we recommend to start with 3 treatments, but with a minimum separation time of 4 to 6 weeks between treatments. For scar reduction an average of 3 to 6 treatments are recommended.

IS DERMAPEN PAINFUL?

When you have a Dermapen treatment, your experience will likely be less painful (if you feel any pain at all).
We use a Medical Numbing that will lessen your discomfort.

HOW EFFECTIVE IS DERMAPEN?

It's considered effective in treating minor scarring related to acne, wounds, and aging. You'll likely notice brighter, firmer skin, too. Ideal results are achieved after multiple sessions. DermaPen is far more effective than at-home rollers.

WHAT IS BETTER BETWEEN MICRONEEDLING AND DERMAPEN?

Dermapen has 12 microscopic needles that oscillate faster, while creating the tiny wounds in the skin's surface. Dermapen is more safe and effective when penetrating the skin compared to traditional microneedling rollers. Dermapen will give you more consistent results than a dermal roller.

WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME AFTER DERMAPEN?

There is little to no real downtime with a Dermapen treatment. Following a procedure, treated areas may be red like a sunburn. Mild swelling is usually seen for about three days. You should treat your skin gently for the next week or two, avoiding sunlight and alcohol based products.
